Hi,
I have taken my son to a pulminary doctor, E.N.T, pediatric neurologist,5 sleep studies, narcelepsy study and a EEG. It has been shown that he has apnea from 3 of the studies. The last doctor that read his cpap titration study said the cpap eliminated his snoring and arousals but caused a significant number of central apneas. The Neurologist disagreed with the report and believes that the cpap is ok. He is using the cpap and waking up with it and is turning it off.
I need a true diagnosis and for someone to help my son with his sleeping problems. Has anyone used a doctor in P.A(C.H.O.P) or Columbia(NY CHildren's).
Any reccommendations?
Thank you for reading this
