Yes, Wayne, any of us who use heated humidification will at some point wake up with moisture in our mask and on our face. My first response to you is to call your DME(durable medical equipment) provider and ask for their help. Secondly, I would suggest that you might turn your humidity control down 1/2 a step and see if this helps the situation. The excess moisture is coming from the humidification. The moisture is keeping your nasal passages, mouth and throat from drying out and cracking. There has to be a good balance between enough moisture and too much. Keep adjusting your humidity control until you are more comfortable. Please note that as environmental conditions change(summer to fall to winter), your humidification needs will change too so expect to adjust the dial from season to season.
