HI, i am wondering what i should be watching for with my son, he trialed a  c-pap but wouldnt tolerate it, and a week later a toncillectomy and adnoidectomy was sheduled... (for the next week) I had to postpone the operation to clear up some queries with the doctors as my son is a patient of the cleft palate clinic...

Any way the doctor told me he is concerned about connors brain??????

What does he mean by this and should i be doing something between now and the next operation?

I would definatly contact your sons doctors again and ask him what he means about he concerned about your sons brain apart from the apnea maybe be making him slower in his every day life also his growth my be stunted as well

I'm an adult with sleep apnea and also a cleft palate which after 35 years still isnt complete but i have had apnea sinces i was in my teens and have had many operations to try and c orrect it due to the cleft palate   Also i wasnt born with adanoids or tonsils
