I forgot to put in a subject so I was the one wondering about camping with my Resmed 87 and being able to dry camp since my machine is electirc, do I need to buy a special device so that I could maybe use a battery? thank you

Susie,
I'm not familiar with your machine. Can it be used with a 12v battery - ie. can you plug it into the cigarette lighter and run it? If so, then a battery power pack (the jump start systems) will work. The size of the battery pack and the draw of your machine will determine how long the battery pack will run the machine. I have 2 battery packs, which will each run my particular machine for 2 nights or longer, without the humidifier.
