Post looking for help interpreting sleep study results
Hi folks!

I'm glad to see that there is a site like this where people can share knowledge and info.  I'm a recent diagnosee with sleep apnea, am on a CPAP and loving it.  I just got back the resutlts of the second sleep study (with titration) (yes, they moved on getting me fitted with a machine before I formally reviewed the results with the doctor's office... I think the 57% O2 saturation had something to do with it... Wink).  Anyway I appreciate the fact that the folks here will help explain all the numbers and whatnot, but is there a place on the web where there is a good posting of the meaning of the terms and normal ranges for the different phenomena tracked in a study?  Thanks!

Matt

Hi Matt,

Welcome!
I moved your topic to our Sleep Studies section.  I was thinking that posters with more of an interest in posted sleep study results might be able to help or suggest a website for you.

You might want to read some of the posts in this section, if you haven't already.  Maybe they might help.

Linda
