i have a 10 week old full term baby (39 weeks).  First signs, three times while i was holding him while he was asleep, he would tense up and take little gasps for air for about 10 seconds and then a big breath.  i thought it was because he older 2 year old brother was startling him.  last night, he did it in my arms again after his brother screamed near him.  then for the first time he did it twice when in his crib on his back and this is why i am concerned.  i have always nursed him and noticed that he is a frantic eater and sometimes doesn't breath when eating either.  please tell me the symptoms you have seen
