Greetings, future fellow hose-heads!

I had my consultation appointment with the sleep lab this afternoon.  The doctor listened to my story and said it sounds to him like OSA.  This clinic has 2 locations.  One can't get me in until the teens of December, but the other location can get me in at the beginning of December.  I will ask about getting into a cancellation group when they call me tomorrow.  Also, I forgot to ask about getting an autopap machine for the time being.  Today has been a long time coming and it's been a long, hard road.  Anyway, I just thought I'd let you know.

Here's hoping for that.  My symptoms have gotten worse, especially the exhaustion over the last few weeks.  I know I've had this for a long time and that waiting until December isn't that long, but I don't know if I can survive that long!  I feel like I'm walking through the entire day with the pillow surgically attached to my face.  I actually came really close to nodding off in the office yesterday waiting 15 minutes for the doc to come in.  If he would have waited another minute, he would have had to wake me up.

Also, I have been reading a few really good books on apnea.  I would like to share these with anybody who's interested.  I know if I just post them, the posts will probably be deleted.  PM me if you're interested in hearing what I'm reading.
