Post clunking on resmed quattro and liberty when I inhale
Hi,

The past two nights I"ve noticed that as the night progresses, with 2 different masks, I get a noisy clunking when I inhale on both my quattro and my liberty. It seems like it might? be the asphyxia valve and accumulated moisture, but it's noisy and impedes normal breathing at a certain point. Sounds like a pingpong ball bouncing around. I do have the humidity cranked up to reduce my sore nose. Any ideas? It's really annoying. The fact that it happens with two different masks tells me it's not the masks per se????

Is it possible that you are having "rainout" or condensation in your tubing?  That happened to me two nights ago and it sounded as your described.  You would need to turn down your humidifier, perhaps have a hose cover, or heated tubing to help prevent this.

It sounds like what my machine sounded like when I didn't have the cover that snaps down over the humidifier snapped tight. It made an awful clunking noise. Confused
