So I think I've trouble shot some of the problems with my new resmed s8 elite. By turning off the epr, and getting a better seal, my AHIs have been 3.5 or so and my AI's around .8.

Is this good enough to declare a victory? I know getting under 5 is key, but is it ever realistic to get it close to zero? Would there be a bigger health payoff?

The ultimate is a zero AHI, but once you maintain the AHI below 5 you are considered 'normal'.

Daniel.

Under 5 is the health insurance industry standard. My sleep doc, who is a great doctor, IMHO, insists on my being under 4.
