Post Mask ?
My mask is a ResMed Mirage Swift II.

Which I really like but it seems to have a minor leak.

The DME put on the small nose pillows, which feel like they are gong into my nose when I breath.
Was wondering if maybe I need bigger pillows.

What do you think, I will have to get a hold of her if so.

hey Penny,

I started out on swift LT and had to change the pillows after the first couple of nights. The DME isnt wearing them so its up to you to decide what works best. My mask came with all three sizes of pillows so I just changed them on my own and was much better after that. the same thing happened with my new mirage liberty. I switched the pillows on it after the first night and they work great now. If you dont feel they are working right, let you DME know and get the ones that are right. Even a minor leak reduces the effectiveness of the treatment. Good luck to you!

Rob

Thanks Rob,

I did some digging in my bags and found the bigger nose pillows. Changed them last night, it was a lot better,

Hey there, how can tell if the pillows have a leak?  Is it when condensation or water is found in the pillows?  That happened to me my 1st night but last night it did not happen.

I have the ResMed S8 Elite II.

Thank you,
Aaron

It can't hurt to experiment and see what works best for you.  What looks like it fits is irrelevant.  What leaks the least in the wide range of sleeping positions is the most important issue.

If I hold my breath and not breath in or out, I can tell if it's leaking.  During the night, you would need a data capable machine to see your leak rate or get the patient software and get a idea when the leaks are occurring and how much.
