Did I tell you I had to have chest x-ray repeated last week? Had a seizure the morning after the sleep test(test on Monday the 3rd), fell, bruised some ribs and scraped the arm. Got the chest x-ray. Then, on Friday the 7th, I got an email from my doctor. They needed to repeat the x-ray. all he said was "we need to repeat the x-ray. no urgency."
Had the repeat x-ray Monday after 3 days of sweating and the result came back the next day. All is normal. Spot or whatever is on a rib not the lung. He said these things are often called "bone islands" and are always benign, but wants it repeated in about 4 months.
The sleep study I had without CPAP showed 204 OSA. 1 central, and one mixed. I don't know the results of the study with the CPAP. I was to find out Monday( and probably will.)
Now this development from the sleep doctor. Sheesh! The following (#1)hit my in box today, Friday the 14th. Had I checked my mail then, I would have been able to call and ask about. Since I didn't get it soon enough, I sent a reply(#2) I'm sure he was aiming for the sleep tech. BD are the doctor's initials, danka is thanks. ASV is a machine. I wouldn't wish health problems on anyone.
Many of you are in much leakier boats and I have nothing but respect for each of you.
