Post Thanksgiving for My Family
Hi Everyone I hope that everyone had a Great Thanksgiving !!! But I wanted everyone to know that this Thanksgiving has not been a good one for me and my family. Early Thanksgiving morning my father and I found my mother passed away in her home in Louisville,KY.  Crying or Very sad  Crying or Very sad  Crying or Very sad . And I was the one that was the closes to my Mother she was the greatest mother that anyone could have. I am going to miss her very much especially when I go back out on the road. I was use to calling her every day for a least a couple of hours talking to her. She had always asked were are you son? She was 69 years old and lived a great life and she went to be with ower Lord and Savior. So Please say some prayers for us, also the funeral will be Wednesday starting at noon. and burial at 3pm so please and us to your prayer list.

                                                                                                God Bless,
                                                                                                            Mark (south9490).

Post Thanksgiving with my family.
Dear South9490,

Rejoice in your Mother's life and her relationship with her God.  Many people experience such severe desolation and I know how you will miss your Mother; however, you seem to have a grounding in Christ.  If your Mother was of the same mind then you have the certainty as to her wholeness now.

God bless you and your family and friends as you go through the next days.  I will certainly pray for you all, and my family will join me.

It sounds as if you were and still will be a great son.  She will be traveling with you now, you will not have to call her, just talk to her directly.

God Bless and Keep You... stay up, rejoice in your life and relationship with her.  It seems it was a really great one.

Hi Mark,

My sympathies, my friend.

It's those routines that are difficult.  When my mother passed about 2 years ago, afterwards Sundays were hard (still are sometimes) for that was the day we phoned each other most of the time.  And whenever I felt sick or down, I would always call her.  So I know those routines are difficult.  I know those days on the road will be hard for you and seem lonelier.  I remember you describing your life on the road whenever we met in the chatroom.

Strangely and coincidentally, I read your post and I'm typing this precisely at noon on Wednesday, just as your mother's funeral is starting.  My prayers go out to you and your family.  She was and always will be your mother.  No doubt wherever you are on the road, she will be smiling at you.  Be sure to talk to her, and tell her where you are.

Take care, Mark.

Linda

Mark,

I am so sorry for your loss.  I hope the services helped you to grieve.

I'm glad you had a close relationship with your mom.  I'm sure it comforted her to know you cared so much.

I lost my Dad the Monday after Thanksgiving this year, and it has been a tough few weeks.  My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.
