I know I'm jumping the gun here but I'm really psyched about the possibility of not feling tired that I want to do everything right. I got my PCP to refer me for a sleep study, my insurance company covers (if needed) equip up to $5000. When I get to the point where I find out if I need a CPAP I don't want to get short changed by my ins. company. To make a long story shot I would like to get a nice, quiet machine and am looking for any sugestions.  Thanks ahead of time for any response

Most of the newer machines are quiet.  But what one person thinks is quiet, another might feel is noisy.  Ask your provider to fire up a couple of em, and see what you think!  Remember with the mask on, you wouldn't hear as much, but some masks do make more "noise" than others.
