I got my new CPAP machine today!  It's a RemStar Plus with an Ultra Mirage FF mask.  I'm so eager for bedtime so I can try it!  I know I won't feel miraculously better overnight, but if I can just get to the stage where I'm not struggling and fighting to get through every minute of the day, I will be happy.  I hope I'm able to sleep with it, and maybe in a few weeks I'll see some improvement!

thanks!  After one night with my CPAP, I'm still tired (which I kind of thought would happen). HOWEVER, I did have a lot of dreams, which is unusual! Normally, I don't remember having any dreams, or sometimes one. I know I had at least 6 different dreams! I think that means I got more REM sleep than usual. In my sleep study, I didn't have any REM during almost 7 hours of sleep. So I'm looking at this as a positive. I'm very glad that my CPAP has that "ramp" feature so I can start it at low pressure and build up to my 18. That really helped me relax with it.

If you find your Ultra Mirage FF mask leaks, try a FlexiFit 431 FF mask.  It works much better at higher pressures for some of us.
