I got my new CPAP machine today!  It's a RemStar Plus with an Ultra Mirage FF mask.  I'm so eager for bedtime so I can try it!  I know I won't feel miraculously better overnight, but if I can just get to the stage where I'm not struggling and fighting to get through every minute of the day, I will be happy.  I hope I'm able to sleep with it, and maybe in a few weeks I'll see some improvement!   Applause  Applause  Applause

thanks!  After one night with my CPAP, I'm still tired (which I kind of thought would happen). HOWEVER, I did have a lot of dreams, which is unusual! Normally, I don't remember having any dreams, or sometimes one. I know I had at least 6 different dreams! I think that means I got more REM sleep than usual. In my sleep study, I didn't have any REM during almost 7 hours of sleep. So I'm looking at this as a positive. I'm very glad that my CPAP has that "ramp" feature so I can start it at low pressure and build up to my 18. That really helped me relax with it.

Hi Rocs,

If you find your Ultra Mirage FF mask leaks, try a FlexiFit 431 FF mask.  It works much better at higher pressures for some of us.
