To Sleepydave and Rested Gal, I wasn't being rude,  my chat aplet doens't appear to load correctly.   I can see what you type but I can't respond.  Sorry.   I am somewhat panicy right now. I just got a call from my EENT (his first day back from vacation) and he is refering me to a pulmonary specialist.  My oxygen rates are extremely low and he is concerned that I have something more than the sleep apnea that is present in the test results.  They are going to get me set up with a machine and want me to use it for 3 months and they are contacting my HMO to see where they can send me.  NOw I am getting scared.   Silly I am a grown woman who has faced more than one emergency in my life and I never panic ...but suddenly I feel rather frightened.    Again sorry to have appeared rude.  I don't know the chat doesn't load properly for me.  But all I get is a blue screeen with whatever everyone else is typing in.  I see no place for me to type in a reply or whatever and there are no icons anywhere.  I had this problem with another internet connection and it maybe that my anit virus programs are interfering.

Don't be scared.  Remember how the quality of your life improved when you started therapy for your Sleep Apnea?  I suspect you are getting ready to take another step up in quality of life.  Your pulmonary guy will probably give you what is called a PFT (pulmonary function test).  If you think you saw a bunch of numbers with your sleep study; you ain't seen nothing yet.  I really think things are about to improve for you.  I must emphasize that when you are referred to a different specialty it is to make things better not worse.  Cheer up!
