Post Does this sound like sleep apnea?
The last 2 nights I have slept good, from 9:30 until about 4:45am, then couldn't get back to sleep, but then dozed off after and while and got up at 7am.  It seems like I was in a deep sleep and didn't wake at all until 4:45 and although I still feel miserable in the morning for an hr or so the rest of the day I have been feeling great even until around 9'ish.  I just don't get it.  Then for a week or so I go really bad waking all night and can't seem to get into a deep sleep.  I am really tired all day and I am moody and snap at my husband and seem forgetful.  I am going from one extreme to another although when it goes bad it seems to be going worse.  Do you think this is sleep apnea?  I am waiting for the specialist to call tomorrow about the sleep study and I am going to see if I can get a home study done seen as though I never fell asleep last time.  I guess I just don't know if I have the symptoms of sleep apnea.  I don't snore, move around during the night or stop breathing.  I just don't feel rested in the morning and seem to awaken numerous time during the night and don't feel like I am going into a deep sleep.  Can anyone relate to this?  When I awaken I am not wide awake the point of laying there trying to get back to sleep but it is more like a semi-conscious state wheee my brain is half awake and I just can't get back to sleep.  Does anyone understand what I am rambling on about?  I can't think of anything else that is can be but sleep apnea.  The specialist said that it could be something to do with my legs moving or something but my husband hasn't noticed anything.
