Post Noise and heavy chest
I've only been using the nose pillows for 3 days and am totally exhusted...the noise of my breathing (not a machine noise) sounds like Darth Vader and keeps me awake. I also feel like I'm breathing in a VERY shallow way and have to catch my breath often..when I wake up I usually have a heavy chest.....Help!!  Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated...(and before anyone asks, yes I relax, no I'm not clostrophobic (sp)...Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

What brand of nasal pillows are you using, The exhaust system on some is quieter than others.  If you have your exhaust too close to a bedpillow, blankets, mattress etc. it will sound louder. Also, any little leak in the system, perhaps after reassembling following washing, can create noise.  Also if a little moisture collects in the exhaust holes it magnifies the noise.   Just touching the holes with my fingertips removes tiny droplets.  I have used four different brands of nasal pillows, and for me the breeze is virtually silent, while others make varying degrees of noise.  Hose covers not only reduce condensation, but may also help insulate noise.
