Post HELP!!! Loose teeth??
I have been on the cpap for a week using the nasal pillow.  I don't have it overly tight, just enough to keep in the air.  There does seem to be pressure on the area between the nose and lips.  I wake up in the morning feeling pretty rested but it takes a while for the total feeling to come back where the pillow was.  This morning I was brushing my teeth and it seemed that the front ones felt funny, I could slightly wiggle them.  Am I now going to have to get some kind of mouth  protector for my teeth?  Is this common?  I don't know if I could adapt to another devise while sleeping.

Are there any softing accessories for the nasal pillow sides that go on the cheek straps?  I sleep on my sides and when waking I have indentations that take a long time to disappear.  Not too attractive for work.

I appreciate any information you can share, thanks!

The only thing I can think is that the prongs are somehow pressing too tightly on the roots of your front teeth.  I'm not a pillow user, so someone else will have to comment.  I will say however, that Respironics makes something called the Comfort Curve which fits like nasal pillows, but without the prongs.  It's like a nano nasal mask and fits just around your nostrils.  I found it very comfortable, but would not be good if you moved a lot (it leaked)

Guest...I wake up some mornings with a sore jaw. I brush my teeth it feels weird...kind of sore. Mine is from pressing my teeth together all night too tightly trying to keep my mouth closed. I am unaware that I am doing this until the morning when I feel a sore mouth. I also don't want to get a dental thing for my mouth so am hoping in time it will get better. I have wondered if it could ever change the shape of my teeth in time. It has been less and less all the time though...so hopefully.
