Hello all-
Well - Since the live chatroom Sunday night - I still have not had luck with the C-pap.
I had follow up visits with my doctors today. The ENT is pleased with how the UPPP / Tonsillechtomy / Tongue Base Reduction is healing - that's all his concern is for now. Even though it still is miserable for me 15 days later. (Who care's I still can't sleep well) The Pulmonologist is going to reset me to 6cm from the 8cm now - since the test showed 6cm. We'll see if I can sleep with the mask set at that - or if I still pull it off due to the deviated septum (future repair?) or whatever reason. I asked them both a lot of questions and kept them longer than they wanted. I got some answers and feel more infromed - for all the good it does me. What I need is better sleep. It can take weeks or months till the surgery heals enough to see a difference in sleep - if any. That stinks. But on the bright side - I managed to eat pizza today - after chewing it to shreds to get it past the surgical fright fest at the back of my mouth. Love those sutures - love that swelling - did somebody say nausea? >> yeah right. -John
