I was recently diagnosed with a severe case of sleep apnea (stopped breathing 67 times in an hour). I had never felt tired before but now that I am using the CPAP, I am waking up fully rested after only 5-6 hours of sleep. I have been on the machine for 5 days. I have taken it off (at 3:00 am) but them my nasal passages get clogged and I wake up and put it back on. Another problem is that I am not turning at all and my back has hurt the first 3 days, but did get better last night.
I am very happy with the machine and the sleep. I also hope to get up earlier and exercise and play tennis.
Any other suggestions for getting too good a night's sleep?
