Just turned 40 and have been feeling like a geezer...Hoping that I can roll back the clocks a bit after I'm on my CPAP for a while.
2 days and counting.

63 -- but I'm still a sleepy gal as I haven't gotten my equipment yet. Caught between open enrollment and a new carrier. So, hopefully, soon I'll start feeling younger than I do now.

I voted for my hubby- age 38. I couldn't vote for my daughter though, there wasn't a age category young enough! She is eight!

42 female, Northwestern States. Will be returning the machine as financial income does not support the $89.00 per month out of pocket expense. Struggling with wearing the nasal mask but accomplishing 5 plus hours a night less than two weeks into the therapy. Weight gain, five pounds already. Totally exhausted at this point in time, although less potty wake ups. Weather and allergies are eating me up. Need to work with a clear head. Obviously cant pay the out of pocket medical so will use it the full four weeks. I want to know and see results, they are slow at this point in time, but given the opportunity to support CPAC as a patient it is doable. So as a patient, these words are to encourage others who might not accept the machine. Thanks 4 listening - true

I just turned 58 a couple of weeks ago.
This is an interesting poll, but I wonder how much of it may be skewed by computer literacy. I wouldn't be surprised that if all cases were diagnosed that the incidence would be evenly distributed...

49 in a couple of months. Probably had hypopnea/UARS for 10 years or more, but only noticed it 4 years ago, didn't get diagnosed until this year, and have had a CPAP for 1 week now.
Good point about literacy, most likely I think. Also (literate or not), people here seem interested in learning more about their condition and getting successful treatment. Not everyone cares or wants to know, they just go to the doctor and do (or not) what they were told and that's the end of it. I don't think we see many of those people here.
So yes the poll is probably skewed but interesting even so.
