I have to get Linda help me download all the pics of my furry children. My daughter and I have (all rescued):
Three felines:
1. Lucky, my part flame point Siamese, juvenile deliquent. He has on a bell because if I hear the bell, I can yell at him before he knocks something over, torments the dog, etc. I think I belong to him. He is always by my side and always laying in front of the monitor when I'm on the computer.
2. Princess Rose, purrrrely ornamental, a double mutant (kinked tail, both Tabby and Calico) she is aloof, doesn't like to be petted unless you are on the floor with her, not very graceful, pretty stupid, but looks cute. She likes to groom our hair however, especially if I have been working out and I'm sweaty.
3. Gracie, our newest addition. A sweet little thing. She is a grey tabby that looks like the other grey tabby pictures. She is around 3 years old and is very shy. However, you can't be shy too long in this house! I was afraid the other animals would toment her, but she holds her own very well!
The love of my life, 12 yo CW, got out last year and despite thousands of dollars working with a pet detective and many nights sleeping and searching outside, he was never found.
One dog:
Freddie, also a pretty new addtion. A little black Skipperkea/Chihuahua mix. Never housebroken and clear that he never will be, but a sweet little guy that we love to death anyway.
Four Tree Frogs:
What was left after Darwinian selection of around 24 tadpoles facing certain death in some pooled water. Toadie (bumpy like a toad), Kermit (green), Paley (paler than the others) and Smallie (really creative aren't I, small). I was going to let them go, but I couldn't find a good place and now it is too late so they have a nice aquatic/terrarium.
Fish:
10 gallon fresh water tank at home. 4 gallon Nano Reef tank at work.
Last year was a bad year for pets. My 9 year old rabbit, Hugs Bunny, has to be euthanized due to severe kidney failure. I wrapped her in a towel from home and held her in my arms to make sure she was calm and comforted during the whole process. She was a discarded Easter bunny and had never been socialized, therefore she bit and left scars. She and I had an understanding, she not draw blood and I would not turn her into hausenfeffer
