dieselgal,
My word! Five Chihuahuas, four indoor cats and one adopted cat? Incredible!
I have my hands full with one darling Pomeranian and three beloved indoor cats!
How do you manage all of this? ;-)

Turns out that Why Paint Cats? is a sequel to Why Cats Paint. Both are spoofs and it seems that the "painted" cats were Photoshopped.
There's more information here.

I kind of wondered how they would keep a cat still in order to "paint" them. Mine don't even stay still long enough to get a collar on them.

All of mine get along well enough and never fight between the dogs and cats, HOWEVER the dogs do like to sometimes run the cats around the room! Oddly enough I have some cats that are much bigger than my dogs but they don't seem to realize they could kill the dogs!
I thought you might enjoy this picture!

Oh ... my ... word!
What is that dog? A baby Chihuahua? That is the cutest thing I've ever seen. It's like a hamster, for cryin' out loud! I want one!
The cat is beautiful! Hope he/she doesn't eat the puppy! ;-)

That really is a very big cat. He is a breed called a Maine Coon and they get nice and big. Also the chihuahua was a puppy at the time and she was only about a pound then. He weighs 26 lbs so there was a big difference. They are good friends though and he never hurts the dogs even when I wish he would pop them for irritating him!

Ha, the expression on that hound dog's face is priceless, hhopper. Just goes to show you that some things go way above and beyond the call of duty!

Ah, yes, a Maine Coon. I had the pleasure of owning a Tuxedo Maine Coon years ago. He used to "swat" my chicken sandwich right out of my hand! He could easily reach the dinner table.
My cats also dont "pop" my Pomeranian, even though they have the claws to "mean business".
Whoever said "fights like cats and dogs" didn't know what they were talking about!
Cheers!
