 No, I'm not a member.
My church has a CMA chapter, as well as their own MC group. I just don't have the time to commit. They're a great organization and they bless my bike every year in Key West.

Just wondering if anyone has had a chance to do a little riding? We had a 65 degree day yesterday and I saw a lot of bikes out. Of course, dh had to work a 12 hour shift and we missed the good weather. Hopefully, we will have another spring like day soon!

Florida has great weather for cruising on a motorcycle but too many idiot drivers that will run you off the road!

Had to go down to So. Cal. for a few days to see family. It was 73 the three days I was there and I didn't have a motorcycle to ride. My sister-in-law lives in Orange County and the weather was just great those days we were there. Almost made me want to move down there. Please notice I said almost. I should have found some where and rented a bike while we were down there. At least I would have gotten to ride. The worst part is that my sister-in-law complained how cold it was every time the temp dropped to 60.

I love the California coast..... Pismo Beach, San Louis Obispo, Santa Maria area. Everyone tells us San Diego has great weather but everytime we have been there, we have had rain! So much for the, "it never rains in southern California...."
I also love Arizona! When our son was in the Marine Corps. , he was stationed in Yuma... we love it there! We plan to take the bike that direction, just not sure when. The kids are in Bakersfield so sooner then later would be fine with me.
I need a bike ride.... it's my destressing mechanism.
Too bad you didn't get to ride. I bet everytime you saw a bike, you wished it was you!
We've never been to Florida but have friends in Jacksonville so we may go there one day too. So many choices.... so little time!
ride safe!

I saw a lot of riders in Cleveland last week.
I spent the holidays in Cleveland, Ohio. They had some exceptionally warm weather for this time of year and I think I saw more riders out than I usually see in my south-Florida area. I once read that Ohio had the most Harley owners in the country.

 Love riding
Ive got a 2000 HD custom sportster silver with tons of chrome. This is my first bike just bought it in july and I put about 1500 backroad miles on it this summer. I just got diagnosed with sleep apnea a month ago. So I'm new to a couple of things this year. Live to Ride Ride to Live

 Hi guys
Long time rider and CPAPer. Only found the forums in the last few months due to increasing sleep trouble. Got a new APAP and things are looking up.
Here's my ride. 1986 Kawasaki Voyager XII. Got a Diamond seat on it now instead of the one in this pic, and yes, it's a 20 year old bike.

Janey lots of people here who are just passengers on bikes. My wife loves to ride behind me. She wants nothing to do with actually driving a bike. Likes the back seat and plans to stay there. I think she just likes playing with the CD controls. Let us know when riding season start for you? Unless you are lucky enough to live where you can ride year round.
zorgchris alright a High Dollar, whoops sorry meant Harley Davidson rider. Don't worry I give all HD riders a hard time. Course I get one back since I ride a Goldwing. Glad to see you here. Waiting on the riding season or still riding now?
JeffH nothing wrong with a 20 year old bike. Friend of mine has a 1988 Goldwing that he rides every where. Went cross country to Wing Ding last year. Washington state to Nashville TN and back with no problems. Those Voyagers were built to last and roll up the miles. Why did Kawa quite building them? Great bikes. I've notice that Kawa is bringing out a new Connie 1400 here this spring.

Hi Ozone Rambler,
Don't know why Kaw quit building the Voyager XII. but you are right, they are tough as a boot. Many of the guys I know that own them have 250,000 miles on them.
This is my third Voyager and it may very well be my last bike. I really like it.
I rode one of the old Connies for 38 miles one time. It was the second longest 38 miles I ever did. The longest was on a custom HD softail.

Jeff,
An old buddy of mine who passed away a few years ago owned a Honda and Kawasaki dealership. He could have any bike built by those maufacturers at dealer net and he alway rode the Voyager XII. He was an old flat tracker and hill climber and liked the Voyager because it was the best handling touring rig out there at the time.
I owned an original 1986 Concours for a few years. It was ok but I like my ST 1100 a lot more. I was on a Kawi test ride once and I guy I knew that owned a Voyager tried a Connie. He didn't get halfway through the ride and was wanting to trade bikes with someone. I guess you either like that riding position or it hurts you.

Brian,
When you gonna upgrade to the new ST 1300? I like the adjustable windshield on them.
Being old and fat, I'm more into comfort when riding, so that's why I like the big touring Voyager.

Jeff,
I spent a day on an ST 1300 a couple of years ago. (Dealing at the same shop for 30 years pays off). I didn't like it anywhere near as much as my 1100. I found it top heavy and the riding position seemed cramped to me. The 1100 ergos suit me like no other motorcycle I have ever ridden. The 1300 is quicker and handled a bit better, but it just didn't turn my crank.
