I just only recently joined this forum and found your post, unreplied.

Giving an absolute amount of weight is difficult.  I have had patients lose as little as 25 lb and have their pressure reduced.  It depends if you originally had a "heavy neck".  5 lbs lost around the neck can significantly affect your CPAP pressure.

Around here, our doctors offer a trial decrease in pressure by 1-3 cmH2O after significant weight loss.  This is followed up by overnight oximetry at home and a questionaire.
Ask if this can be tried for you.

I was told a change in weight of 15% up or down would call for a check in pressure. Not an expert here though...

I am on autoPAP, and notice when I gain 4 or 5 lbs. to 228, my pressure goes up to 10 even 10.6, when I get them off or go down to 220 it went down to 6.3. I was titrated at 7 when weighing 225. (6' tall)
I read somewhere that 10 lb. gain or loss is reason to retitrate, and 10% weight change is reason for a new polysomography study.
