 The Things We Do
We tape our lips shut and experiment with velcro and elastic and even panty hose tied around our heads and faces. We swamp our equipment providers and the internet with orders for the latest greatest mask. We spend $175 on tht new mask and promptly replace 90% of it with pieces of our old masks because "it'll make it work better". We endlessly debate the merits of cpap vs. apap vs. bipap. We smear our noses with sexual lubricants. We wash our faces with soap made for newborns. We fret about what we look like in our gear. "Does this mask make me look fat?" We take secret pride in having a higher pressure or AHI than our friends. And through it all we support each other.
Now I lay me down to sleep,
I hope this stupid mask don't leak.
If I should die before I wake,
Please throw my cpap in the lake!

Now that is funny, creative, and clever, your CPAP is obviously doing its job

And somehow that helps make it all worthwhile.
Thank you, Brian!

 The Things We Do
Brian, I stand amazed. When I saw the lead line I thought of a very old song "The Things We Do For Love" or "What I'd Do For Love". Madre, the poster idea is on it. I think I'll do my room with the poem written in TALL Caligraphy-type lettering around the perimeter (you know like they do nurseries now? BTW, Brian, my FlexFit should be here Monday. Wish me luck.
