Sleep disorders forum
"Living With CPAP" will be discussed at next week's Sleep Disorders Patient Forum support group at Baptist Hospital East.
The program, presented by the hospital's Sleep Disorders Center, will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the hospital's second-floor Education Center, 4000 Kresge Way.
CPAP (Controlled Positive Airway Pressure) is a device that treats some sleep disorders by applying slight air pressure to the airways during inhalation. This increases air intake while decreasing the work of breathing.
Doctors and medical-equipment representatives will lead the discussion.
The program is free and open to the public. For information, call (502) 896-7612.
