qjosea Well as far as I know there are only two ASV machines available, ( " as far as I know of") Respironics BiPAP ASV and the ResMed VPAP Adapt SV, most DME's favor the Respironics I believe they are somewhat cheaper, and the DME's can make more money with them. I have heard they are good machines, I used to have the BIPAP M Auto with B flex before going onto the ASV machine. And that machine was OK. But after doing my home work and studing up on both machines I asked my Doc to write the scriptr for the ResMed VPAP Adapt SV enhanced. My DME did not want to get it for me they wanted to give me the Respironics ASV but I insisted and told them I wanted what the script was written for and if they would not get it then I would go to some place that would get it for me! They got me the machine with the humidaire ii humidfier. I got the machine in May of 2008 and I have never regretted my decision! This machine has been a Godsend for me! So I think you now know what machine I would recommend! If I can be of any more help to you just let me know, or PM me if you like! Good Luck to You.....White Beard
