 Providers in Portland OR?
I recently moved to the Portland area and need to find a good medical equipment provider, and a good sleep doctor. Any suggestions about who to see or who to avoid would be appreciated.

[Commercial Link Deleted. Please adhere to posting guidelines]
I've been happy with the team at this place. I've been a patient there for 5 years. Referred to them by my regular doctor.

Hi, can you repost the name of the place, without the commercial link? We can google it.
Thanks, NAQ

You can find an accredited sleep doc near you by contacting the folks at The American Board of Medical Specialties at www.abms.org.
As far as finding a good DME, find out which are contracted with your insurance first. Then call them and ask them what their policies in regards to CPAP equipment are. You want a DME who can offer you a variety of choices for masks and will let you try them on.

Please explain.. i did not post a link to anything, i don't think??/
I did post the name of a national DME provider that is accepted by Aetna?
I do not appreciate the tone of your comments. Moderators should not respond in that manner publicly.

Not sure which Mod acted. Must have been a link though.
You should not breach clearly published guidelines. The comment from the moderator is a standard comment, one that has been used on another of your posts in October.
I'm pretty sure that the moderator didn't appreciate that you breached the guidelines either. It's not that we take pleasure from it.
Daniel.

You're awfully sure that I did violate something, aren't. I certainly hope you will solicit the other Moderators and find out who did it and EXACTLY what they deleted.
I can't believe your attitude. I did not intentionally breach any guideline that could reasonably be interpreted, to my knowledge. If I did, I sincerely apologize, but you owe me an apology for your extremely rude treatment.
I wish I could moderate the moderator.....

Thanks to the Moderator who changed the comment to a more professional one than previously stated. I appreciate your courtesy.

I have no intention of 'soliciting' anybody.
You, on the other hand, appear to have breached posting guidelines on more than one occasion.......and the offending posts have been moderated. Breaching guidelines relating to 'commercial entities' on one occassion may not be 'intentional'.............on more than one occassion ???? I don't think so.
What do you expect ? Maybe.... 'you are very bold.......please, please, please don't do it again'.............
This post has become ridiculous............you breached the guidelines.........your post was moderated........yet YOU want an apology.........I don't think so.
Daniel.
