I still haven't seen the sleep doc since my last titration, that's scheduled for next Tuesday. But, I got some good news yesterday and wanted to send a big THANK YOU to sleepydave.
Dave, the best advice I've gotten was when you said the allegra-d I had been taking for years was about the worst thing I could be on considering I have high blood pressure and insomnia. Well, I stopped taking it immediately and also switch family physicians. My new doctor agreed with you and cut my dose of Toprol-XL in half and doubled my diuretic. I saw him yesterday and my bp was 130/70. He says that he feels confident I no longer need the Toprol-XL at all. So...I'm off of a bp med!
He also switched me from Trazodone to Lunesta. I'm going to take the first dose tonight. Yaay!
