Post Chills as symptom?
Are chills and shivering symptoms of sleep apnea?  I am being treated for Allergies and we are looking at chronic bronictis and asthma also but I also get these chills which don't seem to be part of cold or flu.  I have recently been tested for sleep apnea (follow up dr's appointment next week) and apparently have apnea.  It seems I have several issues going on and trying to figure out what symptom is from what issue to figure out the treatment.

Hi Doug,

They can be, but it seems to be fairly rare.  Someone else posted about the same issue awhile back.  Make sure that everything else is ruled out since they can be a sign of very serious illnesses.

I also get severe shivering chills which sadly my CPAP has made no difference to, I have to avoid sudden temperature changes, especially when I am overheated and sweaty

mine are probably from a long term anxiety condition although depression can be a cause of severe chills, with my chills, my body temperature is always normal too
