Post Too much sleep
Question I am using a bi-level machine. I was wondering if one can get too much sleep. I've been getting about 9 hours while on the bipap. Thanks

Hi Larry,

9 hours sounds wonderful, I wish I could do that!  It isn't like you are sleeping 12 or more hours.  Normal people sleep 7-8 and if you are just starting your BiPAP therapy, you are sleep deprived and have some catching up to do.  The bottom line is how are you feeling?

I have slept 14 hours before and still wake up tired.  If you're not getting the stage of sleep you need, it doesn't matter how much sleep you get.  Wish I could be of more help.
