WELL I HAVE THE AIR CONDITIONER GOING AND THE FAN GOING IN MY FACE SO I THOUGHT THAT WOULD HELP WITH THE HUMIDITY.  PLUS I HAVE A HUMIDIFIER ON MY MACHINE

Same here.  The humidity makes it difficult to sleep with a plastic thing stuck to your face.  It is so uncomfortable in the humidity.

SO HOW LONG HAVE U HAD SA?  I HAVE KNOW SINCE 2005 BUT ONLY USED MY MACHINE FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS OUT OF THAT TIME

I had the machine for about 5 weeks now.  I really knew nothing about SA, but my husband told me I snored terribly and gasped for air in the middle of the night.  A friend of ours has had it for 14 years.  We talked to him about what I was doing, and I went to his doc.  Sleep studies proved positive, so I am now on the machine.
If you got the machine 2 years ago, and only now are starting to use it, perhaps your SA has changed.  I know my friend's did.  Check with the doc...but then you'll probably have to go for another study.

I KNOW I AM TRYING TO GET AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE DOCTOR NOW BUT WE JUST KEEP PLAYING PHONE TAG.  SHE CALLS AND I CALL RIGHT BACK AND ALL I GET IS THE ANSWERING MACHINE.  I HAVE A FRIEND WHO HAS SA AND SHE SNORES LOUD ENOUGH YOU CAN HEAR IT OUTSIDE IN THE DRIVE WAY.  HER HUSBAND GRIPES BECAUSE HER MACHINE IS LOUD AND THEN COMPLAINS BECAUSE SHE SNORES.  SHE IS SO SELF CONSCIOUS THAT SHE WILL NOT GO ANYWHERE WITH ANYONE EXCEPT ME BECAUSE I GUESS I JUST DON'T FIND IT A PROBLEM.

That is good about you trying to get in touch with the doc.  I hate answering machines.  It is like, you just called me!  Anyways, I went away for a few days and took it with me.  I slept near the a/c in the hotel, so my aunt in the other bed couldn't hear me over it.  I warned her about it, but she didn't even know.  I think SA is one of those things like diabetes...so many people have it but aren't willing to do anything about it.  Good luck and keep the boards posted on your doc.

HAVE YOU NOTICED THAT WHEN YOU DON'T USE IT YOU ARE ALOT MORE TIRED AND YOU FORGET THINGS ALOT.

Well I haven't gone a full night without it.  When I wake up in the middle of the night and take it off, especially at like 2am, I have a harder time getting up in the morning.  I think that it is something that takes getting used to, and then you have to stick with it forever.  I wish I could do that with a diet...ha ha!

I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN.  SOMETIMES I JUST DON'T FEEL LIKE GETTING OUT OF BED.  THAT IS WHY I STARTED USING IT.  SOMETIMES I FORGET WHERE I AM AT IN A SENTENCE TOO AND I AM ONLY 40 YEARS OLD SO THAT MAKES ME FEEL REALLY OLD
