Post Took the Christmas Tree Test :)
Well I took the sleep test last Thursday night, now I know how my poor Christmas Tree feels Very Happy  Really it was not too bad.  I got there about 9:00pm and was in bed by 9:45. A lot of wires.  I think it was seven in my hair alone plus about 20 more on the rest of me. The ones in your hair are held in place with a very sticky paste that comes out pretty easy with hot water.  The rest are like band-aids with the exception of two that are like a belt around your chest and stomach. Also there is a devise that goes in your nose to determine air flow.  I was out by 6:30am. I slept about like I do at home, I woke up a lot, but not due to the wires.  Had no problem going to the bathroom. I got a call today and they told me I stopped breathing about 23 times an hour. I know this is not as much as some but it's enough to keep waking me up I guess. I am going back before I see the doctor and do it again with the CPAP machine Dec 1. So far the experience has not been bad at all. Mike

Just make sure that you follow up!  The general consensus is that anything over 5 needs to be looked at, so at 23 you need to follow up.  You might want to register so you can send and receive private messages, a lot of us have been there and done that, and might want to talk but not openly on the board.

Glad you made the first step!  Let us know how it goes, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Regards,

Mike
