Post What information can the Autopap provide?
After 2 weeks on Autopap therapy, I am still sleepy during the day. I called the DME to ask how I could find out whether my therapy was working. She had me download the little Res Scan data card in the back of my Resmed Auto Vantage and send it to her. She has been a very unsatisfactory provider,so far, very short and gruff with me, and "just wasn't sure" what kind of data the card could provide.
Does anyone know? Does it tell if I am still having apneas?
Thanks,
Lee Ann

That's a good question because I am wondering the same thing.  I have been on auto-pap for nearly 2 weeks now too and I am curious what information they get off the card apart from a pressure reading.

You can get an idea by going to [Commercial Link Deleted] and looking at the software screenshots for Encore Pro and the free supplement called MyEncore. This only works for the Respironics CPAP and APAP machines.

I'm very happy that I can monitor my own well being from day to day or even once a week. I don't mind a doctors opinion too but I don't want to wait for the results and I trust my DME about as far as I can throw them.
