I just got a call from my sleep doctor's nurse saying that my sleep study was negative. I am so disappointed because I was really hoping that they would find something (like sleep apnea) that they could fix and I would stop being tired. Ironically, although I can sleep anytime/ anywhere, I had a difficult time sleeping in the lab.
Is it possible that I did not sleep like I usually would and the study gave a false negative? Or, do people with sleep apnea always show it?
If it turns out that I really don't have sleep apnea (even though I have all the symptoms including my husband hearing me stop breathing sometime), any idea what other sleep disorders I should ask my doctor about?
Thanks for your advice!
