Well, you DO need a doctor's script for at least a CPAP to get that autoPAP from an online DME supplier.

The on-line providers do set up the equipment before sending it out.  If it is CPAP they set it to the prescribed pressure.  If it is autoPAP and the prescription prescribes the automatic range, it is set to the prescribed range.   If it is an autoPAP and the prescription does not prescribe a range, it is set to 4 - 20 cmh2o
