Just did my third night with new cpap---after two nights my index was 4.6 now this morning it is 4.8--even though I felt like I slept sounder? Whats the reason

0.2 is nothing and is in the normal nightly range of fluctuation.  You need to worry when your pressure consistently goes up from 4.6 towards something around 6 cmH2O.

And it usually won't be a big jump to there either; it would be a gradual trend upwards.  So what you watch out for are upwards trends over time.  It takes at least a week or two to see trends since, as I said, there is a normal nightly fluctuation of pressure.
