Post Home Sleep studies
Has anyone ever had a home sleep study? Medicare just agreed that they would cover them, but not all insurance companies will. If I want a home sleep study and want to pay for it myself, does anyone know how much they are??

I'd rather not sleep in a lab if I can sleep in my own bed. Does anyone else feel the same way?

Eh, I've traveled a lot thru the years so sleeping in a sleep lab isn't any different than sleeping in a motel (except for all the durn wires, of course). And you are going to have a good share of those same wires w/an at-home sleep study. However, for those who do NOT sleep well away from home the at-home studies could be a blessing. The problem w/the in-home sleep studies so far as I understand is that they aren't really able to determine any other sleep disorder that may be present in addition to or instead of "just" OSA. From what I've read these at-home sleep studies are anticipated to cost about $500.
