I'll apologize now for the suggestion, if its insane, but:
What id you purchased some skin safe adhesive (maybe not adhesive, but some material that is tacky) and applied to to a piece of cut craft foam? It comes in sheets and you can cut it with ordinary scissors. It is a decent cushion and would potentially seal unique shapes with a bit of pressure.
It might not work and it may be the dumbest thing posted on this board. I am just trying to think of possible fixes.
I've been using the silicone putty for almost a year now, and it works great for me. I just needed to experiement to get the right placement. I need it at the bottom of the mask because I have a small chin and high cheekbones, I can get the mask to seal at the top or the bottom, but not at the same time! Now I adjust the mask so there are no leaks at the top, then fill in the bottom gaps with the putty, no leaks. If you want to try it, do some experiementing until you get it just right. When you do , make a mental note of what you did right, then just do it that way the next time. I also find I need to keep them in a sealed tupperware type container, they keep fresh that way and don't lose their stickiness as fast. Ram's idea might work, but it sounds way too complicated for me, when I am ready to go to sleep I need things as simple as I can get it. Virginia

I'll try it this Friday night. Ill keep everyone posted, although I do not seem to have many leak problems. Having said that, im sure that I will now!
THANK YOU, 2005 Vette, for reviving this thread!!! I've been looking for this thread for 3-4 days now!!! I KNEW darn well I had seen it somewhere, and thought it was here, but was beginning to think I'd dreamed it and was passing on trumped up information!!!
And, Peke, God bless you for starting the thread!!! And to all who have contributed!
RAM, your thoughts on the foam don't sound so far out. I look forward to hearing how it works for you. Unfortunately, my leak problem is not my mask or mask fit - its the good ole "lip flutters" and I've just been too doggone lazy to "do" the PoliGrip Denture Gel "fix" even tho it works great for me when I do resort to using it.
